I would ask a meak girl and after she accompanied me to sushiro, I would force her to eat with me
Ofcourse I would pay for her meal and treat her gentlemanly, like no Japanese man has before
>>
I give directions when I know the place they're asking about.
It's basic courtesy.
That said, I'm not in tourism central, so it's usually business travelers or students asking.

I work for the municipality I live in as a utilities worker. Had some brown dude stop in the middle of traffic to ask me directions to a street while I was in the midst of handling a water main break. I mean I showed homie where to go cause he had a sticker that said "ambassador"
>>
I get asked for directions consistently while having no fucking clue what I'm doing. I feel terribly for older couples when I can't tell them the right place
>>
>>220255706
im a foreigner too and people ask me for help and i end up wasting their time by accident because i have no clue how to communicate with people who speak broken german unlike actual germans who know how to read what broken german means

Your question implies I live in a place worth visiting and that I also leave the house to encounter people who visit there.

I think the last time I saw a tourist was in 2018 and it was when I went to a Lexington Concord reenactment. Couple where I think one was Taiwanese and the other was Thai or something amusing like that.
They took a photo for me of me with a reenactor at the reenactor's prompting when I initially asked to take a selfie with him.

What is ”ridiculously huge” in Japan?

Would 190cm 90kg be considered ”ridiculous” or just large?

Yes. I love Americans the most. They're usually fat boomer couples that are always so jovial but even other Americans are happy.

A few days ago at the Masjid Jamek MRT-LRT interchange station, I saw an American woman with luggage who appeared lost. She was sweating and red in the face due to our 35C weather. She asked a Bangla guest worker how to go to KLCC but the Bangla didn't speak English. I walked pass her but then felt guilty so I turned back and told her to follow me to the LRT KJ Line platform, which requires walking through a pedestrian tunnel. We got to the platform just as the train arrived and I waved her goodbye.

Answer if I know. Said "I don't know" if I don't.
>>
I point to a random direction and say "that way maybe".

Like I don't fucking know, I can barely travel to the city centre and that's a straight line.

>foreigner asks for directions in English
>reply in Swedish
>he thanks me and goes the direction I told him too
wtf if you knew swedish then why did you speak English with me? also I meant to reply in English but I constantly forget to and instead say it in swedish, this also happens when I'm the tourist so I'll just try and order something only to realize I said it in swedish and then I have to order again in English while dying of embarrassment

any other anons that can relate to this?
