Why do YOU hate Siberia?Let's talk for real here, what's YOUR beef? Come on, list your reasons and let's talk in a civilised matter?
>>220269231you idiots store your historical/reserve tanks out there in the bare elements and can't seem to understand how they start rotting awaytake better care of your stuff
From what I understand, sending someone to Siberia while in communist times was the equivalent of spiritual buckbreaking and of course, the forced labor part. Is Siberia nice? What can you do for fun over there
>>220269266That was in tsarist times and they were mostly sending liberals here from which we benefited greately. In Soviet times most goolags were located either in west Russia or in a small portion of Siberian far east.
>>220269263Tanks? Wtf are you talking about.
>>220269231I don't hate it but Siberia has some of the highest crime rates in Russia, mass poverty, highest corruption, etc. In just about every quality of life metric, Siberian regions (Buryatya, Altai, Zabaikalsky Krai, Tyva, Amur, Chukotka and others) will be at the bottom of the barrel. Is there really much to love about it?Why does life have to be so bad among magnificent nature and infinite natural resources? I guess this applies to many places: Africa, India, etc.
>>220269453How is that supposed to be bad. What yoh view as criminal life is the life of individual agency that was "civilized" away from you.
>>220269231I have no strong feelings about Siberia.
>>220269570Let me put it this way: do you think that men from these places enlisting to fight in Ukraine en-masse is a healthy sign? People are willing to gamble with their lives for a few thousand bucks a month. In places like Buryatya and Tyva over 1% of male population has been KIA already.
>>220269702And wtf that has to do with Siberia? Indigenous steppe people were working as mercenaries even before Yermak crossed the Ural mountains, what the fuck is surprising about them doing that now?
>>220269231You got conquered by Russians so you must have deserved it.
>>220269810We never were conquered, only betrayed. Irkutsk alone didnt had power to win against whole of the Soviet goblin army.
>>220269231I've always preferred Pomorie region
>>220269231bruv why do you keep acting like it's a real place or sum, you're RUSSIAN
>>220269916All real pomors came to Siberia as soon as they could
>>220269874You were conquered long before the Soviets.
>>220270003Not really
>>220269231There's a guy I play video games with who's gay and lives in Siberia and I'm convinced that must be as close as you can possibly get to actual Hell.
>>220270080>Russia conquered Siberia primarily between the late 16th and 17th centuries, starting with Yermak Timofeyevich's campaign in 1581–1582, which targeted the Khanate of Sibir. The conquest was driven by the search for furs, with Cossacks utilizing muskets and river routes to dominate indigenous tribes and establish forts.Yes really, Timmy.
>>220270181I knew that Americans are dumb and uneducated but you reached the new low
>>220269231i like tundra
>>220270188I accept your concession, Timmy.
>>220269231i don't really think about siberia
>>220269231>what's YOUR beefhttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sybirakother than that I'm sure the nature is beautiful and I'd like to go there, probably best to put that off for calmer times though
>>220270453How is it our fault?
>>220269231Because Siberians are disloyal to the Russian state
>>220269231You should change the name to stop confusion with Serbia.
>>220269231I don't hate Siberia. The nature looks quite beautiful and the cities are fun to watch YouTube videos about.I don't think I'd ever want to live there since it seems so cold and inhospitable. But I'd like to visit in the summer if US/Russia relation improve to the point that I don't have to worry about being stranded or accused of being a spy.
>>220270480>our faultnot about who's at fault for anything, I just posted it to illustrate the collective bad connotation that the vast majority of poles have when it comes to siberia the place not siberia the peopleI'm not trying to start an argument here
