That was me once. I lasted 3 months and ditched programming altogether. Got a completely different degree and never looked back. Still a computer wizard and it's a huge plus in any field where IT isn't your main focus.
>>
killing spree
>>
>>220282863
Getting drunk alone while playing Titan quest.
>>
rdr2 and weed lmao
I just bought a pc after 10 years of not having one, so I haven't made plans for this weekend, only being alone with vidya like in the good old days
>>220283975
What do you play ?

I did CS at uni and then realised working as a software engineer is a bit shit and the idea of programming for fun in my own time is absurd to me. I'm currently trying to shift into project management.
>>
>>220284148
I am also the go-to guy for IT despite it not being my specialty, and since all my colleagues are boomers they get very impressed by basic powerpoint animations
>>
>>220284370
I became an occupational safety & health engineer. Before uni I did a vocationary degree at high school so I can put "IT technician" on my resume and every boomer shits his pants in excitement when he sees it. Best part is OS&H staff is required by law to exist in every company employing 100+ people, so my existence is guaranteed by the state. I can safely automate my tasks and not be replaced by AI thanks to it.

Do you have to go to factories where people have been sucked into lathes and eviscerated?
>>
>>220284718
If it happened at my employer's place then yeah, I gotta be there and document it for the accident documentation. During uni professors would unironically show us LiveLeak videos from chinese factories to desensitize us a bit. But I got employed at a university (rival of the one I finished) so not much machinery here. Just profs spilling acid on themselves sometimes.
>>
>>220282863
nothing special as I work tomorrow
>>
>>220282863
Going to a protest
>>
>>220282863
