Had this in my village (have some memories from mid 90s). We had lots of guns
Until the late 80s/ early 90s bihar was suffering from dacoits etc. my mom's village area had lots of them so my parents couldn't get married in mum's village. They had to go to devghar (holy city of shiva). My dad's village side everyone had guns and there was mutual respect between usually rival castes in other areas... So people from our family could incelwalk at 3 AM through the fields too.
Only scary thing in my dad's village area was ghosts in those fields
