So in northern Europe you also call salame ''pepperoni'' like they do in the US?

Peperoni (with one p!) means ''bell peppers'' in Italy, if you ask for a pizza with ''pepperoni'' in Italy they will bring you pic related

Pepperoni is spicy salami. You can get regular salmai here

why does picante salami seem like a rare topic there? i don't think i've seen an authentic italian pizza using it as a topping?

>>
guys

I'll tell you a secret

I have tried quite a few supermarket pizza brands, including the supposed "premium" brands with good reviews. They all kinda sucked.

This doesn't mean that I can't enjoy an instant pizza from time to time. Here's how:

- find a decent pizzeria
- buy any pizza
- cut it in slices, wrap them and freeze them
- keep some fresh ingredient, e.g. fresh mozzarella, cherry tomatoes, oregano, etc. in your fridge
- when you microwave your frozen slices, add some of the fresh stuff
- enjoy!

you're welcome
