A bit of everything. We extinguish the eternal light in church on sad friday and relight it during midnight mass on Easter sunday. On Easter sunday we end fasting. We colour eggs and hide them in the garden or a park for children to find. Children get little nests with chocolate eggs or a chocolate easter bunny. When we're older we return to our parents on easter for a nice family lunch. Everybody drives back home at noon on easter monday so the autobahn is packed and there's traffic jams. Also there's two weeks of school holidays around Easter that aren't spread out like the summer holidays among the federal states, so all the people book their holiday, their plane and train tickets at the exact same time. Which is why there's often bus drivers or airport workers on strike at this time. (To cause maximal damage.)
