Even the most basic jobs have 1000+ applications; the economy is real deep in the shitter atm. Just earlier this week, the largest newspaper wrote an article how it is easier get applied to medical school (often considered the toughest field to enroll) than getting a summer job at a local hardware store.
Body isn't able to keep up with employment so that's a mini break for neetdom
