>cameras popping up everywhere, especially in people's front door and car
>facial recognition software companies all popping up
>data centers everywhere
>sudden unexplained call for "age verification"
>phones are always listening but only for ad purposes, of course
>governments making increasingly more unpopular decisions which aim at suppressing the population
>Chinese routers etc are a big no-no because of backdoors which implies western ones are all backdoored
I wonder what our societies will look like in 10 years.
Are you looking forward to the future in your country?
>>
in 10 years i will be living in Paraguay so who cares

Yes. In 10 years I will own nothing, eat the bugs, and I will be happy.

>>220337073
I’m only looking forward my gooning-drinking-goyslop eating induced heart attack. Any day now

Sometimes I feel stings in my chest I wonder what they are

I reckon there will be many such cases

Seeing how many AI powered traffic cameras were in my areas was grim.

Not to mention all the stuff like doorbell cameras like you said (which the government also has access to.)
The sad thing is most people don't seem to care. I've spoke to people I know about it and the common sentiment seems to be
>well if it's keeping us safer then I'm all for it
>I don't have nothing to hide
The average person literally does not give a shit about the slow encroachment of government surveillance, and if anything support it.

Gooning is good for your heart so it cancels out the drinking and goyslop consumption.
>>
You should have listened.

That tranny doesn't even compare to the greatest Kampuchean hero. Now he's back and ready to show you the horrors of technology once again.
>>
Less than 15% of people actually participate in their democracy in a meaningful way. The vast majority make no decisions and have no say, and don't even care (even if some of them make a lot of noise about it). They have no idea how to control anything, least of all mass surveillance technology. So power gathers more power to itself and the 85% remain paralyzed.

Are you implying all of the above could've been prevented by people voting more often or whatever?
>>
>>220340975
no, in fact I think voting is a bad way of getting a representative government. there's tons of voters in my cunt, they operate like chickens who are too fat to live and break their own legs when they try to walk.

Yknow what? I'll revise my earlier estimate down to 5%. There are a few key traits that actually matter for good government: integrity, judgement, and compassion. Nobody evaluates the candidates they raise up on those traits. At best, they care about "issues," which is nonsense when the issues of today could be completely different in 6 months. At worst, they vote based on vibes and nostalgia. And many don't even pay attention to legislative elections, just the king's moot.

>15%
Lol. Fucking delusional. Try 0.15%. 'Democracy'. Lol.
