>>220440078Can you afford 1000+ hours of flight school?
>>220440112most people get loans, the real question is if he can survive it.
>>220440078no, air flights as we know it will cease to exist. It will return to being a thing only the oligarch elites do.
>>220440112Thats the question. I have 80k saved for the PPL and CPL, but I don't have the money to pay for 1000 hours on a Cessna or Piper. People become instructors, but I see it as difficult.
Its gonna be automated by AI eventually
>>220440424i doubt about itThere is more risk involved in being a programmer
>>220440078>Ive always loved aviationwhat was your inspiration?
>>220440560tons of hours in X-plane ironically
>>220440291Do you mean that will happen by the automation? Even now basically it’s auto flights and there is not many reasons for pilots to sit there but taking responsibility, probably?
don't airline pilots make like 60k usdalthough I want a PPL now, I want to live in a residential aviation community and fly out of my garage hangar in my 4 seater homebuilt to the runway to big cities for parties and whatever and then just fly home
>>220440078I don't like planes, train are soothing, fast, and dont release co2 everywhere
>>220440873I want the PPL but I don't know if its worth continuing with the CPLpeople have a hard time getting to the airlines.
>>220441006In our country, there's a slang term, "You seem to like trains," which means someone is autistic.I wonder if this is common in other countries?
