I was in school in the afternoon and teachers were coming into the classroom to talk with my teacher about things and then I went home and saw the news and then we had a power-cut for some reason
>>220445013at home with my father watching TV. they interrupted the regular broadcast and this came on abruptly https://youtu.be/2C8a1ZzLGyAI remember my father freaking out
>>220445013I was playing with toys I guess. I was very young and mom and dad were very careful to not draw my attention to the TV so I really have no memory of the day.
>>220445013i was not alive yet - it would be another 4 years before i entered the world. that being said, i find the events of that day very interesting. not just from a geopolitical/social/economic standpoint, but i actually wanted to learn about structural engineering & continuity of government stuff in high school because of it.i would say i am more well-informed on the subject than 75% of my peers. i don't believe it was an inside job from an "active" standpoint (like thermite in the towers) but it was most certainly a "passive" one (the U.S. allowing it to happen).the WTC complex had already been bombed once in February 1993, and it was a miracle that only 6 died from that. why? because had the guy parked the bomb just a bit differently, the North Tower would've immediately collapsed and crashed into the South Tower. the 2001 attacks were surreal, yet not nearly as bad as they could've been.
2yo, dont remember
>>220445013I became 2 years old and was eating apple sause. I Believe there were glow-in-the-dark stars on the sealing of my bedroom.THe real question is why did your British city's power line take a deviation across the pond and cut through the twin towers? seems a bit suspicious to me. maybe MI6 was more involved in this than I thought.
>>220445013In school. Like most Americans.Actually kind of funny story because my class was at Art, that's what it was called back then, just Art.So anyways me and a friend were at a table with 2 girls and basically we were messing up each others work or whatever, good time, you know, boys vs. girls (we won pretty sure because they were all "no, don't, stop", like that ever helps lol).Anyways we get back to the main classroom and our teacher started to talk about the events that had transpire and because information was limited at the time, he described the acts as "vandalism" and I was like >Oh man, busted, we're in trouble for fucking up their artWhat a relief it was that he wasn't talking about my friend and I.That was 5th grade.
>>220445137Why do the french begin remembering things so late into their lives?
Most italians my age (31) have the same exact memory. Watching TV after school, scheduled transmissions suddenly cut out to an urgent news broadcast, towers engulfed by fire and smoke, South Tower collapses, North Tower collapses, Pentagon struck.
>>220445013I was 2 years old and I turned 3 the next dayWhere was I? In diapers, probably at my grandma's house while my mom worked. I don't remember anything, but if there's any connection, people always remember my birthday because it's the day after 9/11
>>220445233>while my mom workedWhat did she work as?
>>220445013born in '05 hereso....
>>220445264accountant chief financial officer
>>220445286Ok. Lol. Got a comedian here. What did she actually work as.
I always 6, almost 7yo. I was probably at home watching cartoons or drawing shit, school started around 1PM back then and I live only 1h ahead of NYC too young to even fathom what was happening
>>220445300No, really. My mom went to college and majored in finance. She started out in the mail room at a bank and worked her way up to being the chief financial officer. I won't have you talking ill about her
>>220445125your viewpoint about advance knowledge is common but I appreciate the knowledge about the 1993 bombing. would've been a much different world had things gone differently back then
>>220445013well i was 14 and it was tuesday so i guess i would've been in school. i just remembering seeing it on the news and then changing the channel because i didn't care

>>220445013My family lived in Argentina. I was 8. It was teachers' day so no school. I was sleeping when our babysitter woke me up. Mom was at the phone calling from work and told me to turn on the TV. I was a fan of tall buildings so I was familiar with the twin towers, mom know so she wanted me to know. Watched the whole thing live at my parents' room TV from the second crash to both collapses.
I was in 3rd grade. They sent us all outside for a couple of hours which was weird because school had just started and also recesses were usually staggered because the playground couldn't really support having all 800 kids running around at once but there we all were. Some of the teachers were standing there watching and looked like they were about to cry. I got an incredibly eerie feeling from the whole thing because of how weird it was even though I had no idea anything was wrong. Then we went inside and did basically nothing all day. At the end of the day we were all given a sealed letter to take home to our parents and were told to give it to them as soon as we saw them. I handed my dad the letter, he read it, muttered "fucking cocksuckers (first time I ever heard that word) should have known they don't actually teach you anything in that school" under his breath, and then he walked me into the living room and sat me down in front of CNN.Turns out we all got sent outside so the staff could have a big all-hands crisis meeting and they punted on whether and what to tell the students; the letter just said "we didn't want to explain to your kids in case you wanted to explain it to them differently"
>>220445013I was too young at the time I remember my parents talking a lot worried about something, I couldn't care less though.Grownups stuff.
>>220445335More like the male room.
We need 2nd Bean Laden Hopefully make Pentagon fully flatten
>>220446102fingers are crossed
No idea and never cared No tv back then and the radio at home was playing music stations usually so I heard about it later on a jehovas witness magazine
