Besides stuff like croissants and cheese, I've never eaten anything that is distinctly French. What is a dish I should try?
>>220472028I've never tried it either desu. It honestly doesn't even look that different to our cuisine.
>>220472028Madeleines is double hoggin' huh?
>>220472028Why are you using AIslop for this>coq au vin (braised chicken) and bouillabaisse (fish soup) look like a beef stew>ratatouille is a tian provençal>onigon>escargors>madeleines sausages???>pot-au-feu (hotpot) = three pieces of toasted bread?
Try oeufs mimosa, super easy
>>220472028I would only recommend trying one of those dishes if you cook them yourself by following a recipe. French restaurants abroad are overpriced and a waste of money. The image is some pretty rough AIslop, but the dishes themselves are real. The most feasible on there is blanquette de veau. The others are either too basic or have overly long cooking times.
>>220472028Yeah same, I'm a vegetarian tho and most of their dishes seem to be meat based
>>220472028I like frog legs.Does that count?
such pompous performative faggotry
Ratatoouille sucks ass, everything else is delisioso
>>220472179>oeufs mimosaMom used to make those for me as a kid.
>>220472028Galette bretonne au sarrasin avec oeuf jambon fromage is God-Tier.
>>220472028The cheapest and easiest you can do is croque monsieur with béchamel.
>carbslop :/>carbslop: France :0
>>220473260It's not the same carbs thought
Their food looks like their demographics
>>220473431Stop stealing copper please
Andouillettes. The French love poop flavored food.
>>220472316But these are the actual french home cuisines? Youre thinking of nouvele garbages
>>220472028i've had crepes but that's itit's bland
it's british cuisine with better knifework. completely pedestrian.
>>220472179Corrrrrrr love me some oeuf mimosa with a nice piece of bread
I go to France at least once a year and eating there is always a wonderful experience. Affordable, quality/fresh, and great range of food unlike some cuisines that feel boring. My favourite dish is probably a well done cassoulet. Rustic, rich, unbeatable. Of the savoury dishes in your AIslop OP image tartiflette is an easy and fairly quick recipe compared to all the braised dishes. Favourite dessert that isn't too hard but might be difficult to source tools depending on where you are is cannelé which wasn't in your OP. I guess I particularly like food from the southwest.
>>220472028Aligot, it's cheese and mash
>>220472028>PissaladiereDoes that one come from Alsace-Moselle?
>>220472028meme language
>>220475118Nice
>>220475130Meme country
>>220475151
>>220472028French food is good but overrated, especially compared to Italian food.
>>220473056French onion soup seems easier since you can just buy everything as is and combine it with no cooking skills
Is everyone blind? Why do you post crazyass AI slop making no sense?
>>220475514This is a clafoutis.
definitely duck confitit's unlike anything else
>>220472028You should try Pot au Feu and Madelines at least that’s what the ai image is saying
>>220472028>Pot-au-Feu>Pot-ou-Feu??????>Madeleines>Madeleines????????????????
I don't like coq au vinWhenever I make it I just think 'damn I would be enjoying this 10 times more if it were beef instead of chicken' and just make boeuf bourguignon a few times until I start to feel like making coq au vinMaybe if I could get actual coq it might be different
>>220472028haven't eaten many french dishes myself, but i really enjoy french onion soup
>>220472028Actual French food>Kebab>Otacos>Crousty>Wrap>Expensive burger>Triangle sandwich>Microwavable cardboard pasta
>>220480651You're a nafri unable to make a blanquette de veau. Life must suck.
>>220472028Lmao this ai slop is half wrong>Madeleines>SausagesKek
Gonna vote for cock ow veen or beef boujwa. Its fun to dump a whole bottle of wine in a pot
>>220472028Tarte tatin is great
>>220475526magnifique!
