What irks me about the whole story is his Judaism. He was a practicing, religious Jew who was following Judaism. He never said that he came to start a new religion, nor do I recall him ever saying anything about goyim being a part of this whole shindig. He was Jewish, his followers were Jewish, and his successors (early Christians) were also Jewish. It was not until non-Jews wanted to join that it became its own thing. Am I wrong?

I read the new testament and Jesus never meant to reach out to gentiles. That was all made up by Paul the apostle and others after he died.

The fact that American "Christians"(Evangelicals and other heretics) falsely describe Jews as God's "chosen people", despite them murdering prophets and murdering Christ, is baffling.
