fibre causes most digestive system issues though. indigestables of course are rough on the body. it's only when the fibrous thing you're eating is also a laxative that it 'helps' but that is indicative of it being unhealthy. it's basically mild diarrhea, an indication that something is wrong rather than 'healthy bowel movement' merely for meeting an incorrect normative standard of pooping frequency.

also, it's the toilet's fault. squat toilets are superior and should be norm. straining won't happen then, which means laxatives won't be needed every day for normal shitting, and constipation would be avoided. a lot of people are literally dependent on inducing mild diarrhea every day just to do a basic bodily function.
