>>220574940Survivorship bias, monotheism wasnt unique to the middle east, its just that a specific sect of monotheism conquered the whole western part of the earth and another specific sect conquered half of the eastern part, and both sects are part of a specific classification of religions. But you could find religions with similar founding concepts (god is 1, god created everything, we can talk to him via prayer, hes up in the sky etc) from papua new guinea to the british isles. But 99.9% of them are nothing but a footnote in history.
