Gods used to interventine in our lives daily according to old religion but as time went on to explain the lack of evidence religion became more and more outside of the human realm and based on faith/heaven. Sure bigfoot, nessie and such are popular ones, but they arent real, bu there still are cryptids that could exist, it's just they are usually very small and "too ordinary", so they arent that interesting for general audience, but for many who are into cryptids they are very interesting and cool if found.
