Hokkaido is Kino. My favorite place in Japan

There's nothing interesting about this picture though

It's comfy, imagine the crisp and cool autumn evening air as you peruse the city skyline.

I bet I can see a more beautiful city skyline from my room. But I don't consider it like a horse racing competition. I feel very lonely in the middle of the city skyline.

Will you ever go to japan and realize the shithole it is or you will rather stay here fantasizing about it for many years to come?

You don’t have any freedom living in Japan, you work constantly just to exist and have to always do what is demanded of you. As a foreigner you will genuinely never fit in or be allowed in certain places, you’ll always just be seen as “one of the good ones”. You’ll become an alcoholic because that’s literally all there is to do for fun and it’s a big part of how you socialize and is usually expected of you for work, it’s nothing but rampant consumerism you drink and eat and buy shit you don’t need then go back to work, drink eat go back to work, all you really have time for. Relationships are more like business transactions, dating for love is basically a myth, and you will have to jump through legal hoops for over a decade just for the privilege to live like this. Japan is an amazing place to visit, but there’s a reason Japanese people commit suicide so often.

I don't plan to work for a Japenese company for peanuts.

Maybe the fantasy is the appeal. Personally I don't get it I read through Hearn's essays about the country from 100 years ago then checked what actual people stationed there prior to him were reporting and the news outlets at the time were calling Hearn and Edwin Arnold retards for upselling the country to tourists that in no way reflected the country they lived in for like 25+ years. Seems like this has been a problem ever since the French started promoting Japan.

you’ll take the peanuts and be grateful for the peanuts Sven, or they’ll can your ass and ship you back to Malmö.

I literally read the story of a retarded woman that went there on a work visa teaching english just to quit and try her luck by being an influencer just to fail kek

You're eating your own country's media propaganda without second thought
>>

I don't, I just want to visit before it's full of foreigners, but I'm probably too late.

19.6 and 14.7 is incredibly high in a population 1/3 the size of the U.S.
They even have words for overwork death (karoshi) and overwork suicide (karojisatsu). Even with the reported rate that high, it’s likely even higher because there is a huge social stigma to acknowledge suicide deaths.

Are you actually retarded? 48,824 suicides vs 20,320 suicides, one country has 343 million people one has 123 million, which country has more people at the end of that? You fucking buffoon.

Serious question. Are you this guy? There used to be a Swede that regularly infodumped humiliating Japanese history out of nowhere, then he stopped posting and around 3 or so years ago this new Swede that is intent on moving to Japan yet never actually managing to go appeared. Did you decide to change the routine or is my assumption wrong?

The US has a 26% higher male suicide rate. American must be very bad to live in it seems.
