do japanese people actually unironically think this hairstyle is attractive? no way, these bangs looks terrible especially with very straight hair
>>220698590it is out of what they are told to wear, the extreme levels you will see in North Korea, they have mandated hairstyles
fuck you
>>220698590it's cute
>>220698878maybe on a little kid who gets her hair cut by mom then yes
>>220698590shut up polehttps://www.tiktok.com/@bridgettehaze/video/7606973999486143752(we ruled the slavs btw)
>>220698590Obsessed poolish faggot
>>220698590It's cute (and hides their big foreheads which is another reason they use it)
>>220698878>maybe on a little kid who gets her hair cut by mom then yeslike for example here, it's okbut if she's over 8 years old and still styles herself this way then it's just pure yikes
>>220698590>bangsBangs my arse, it's called a fringe. Why do yanks call it 'bangs', it makes no sense.
I love bangs on women. Most women look cuter with bangs.
>>220698590They do it to make their heads look smaller, it's not an option for them.
>>220700664thank youhere it's called grzywka, diminutive of "mane"
>>220698590Not about because of hairstyle, but I hate them. Japanese idols after AKB (aka Akimoto Yasushi produce idols) are talking like robots only exist for comforting 50 years old loser men. And this hairstyle is kind of the symbol of this kind of idols. I hate them.
>>220701131>50 years old loser menare they the target demographic of the entire idol genre?
love bangsand asians look especially good with them
>>220701131I've looked into this and this statistic messed with me on a mental level. Idol is the most nonsense 'industry' I've ever read about. They're supposedly funded by what's called 'oshi-katsu' (not to be confused with otaku-katsu) yet it's the most vaguely tabulated finance imaginable. An oshi can be anything from a Youtuber to someone on Instagram and oshi-katsu is technically a gift and this is the entirety of the idol's revenue. There's an MoF report about it, supposedly the annual domestic spending on idols is 5x that of both anime and manga. So I'm supposed to believe that these 40-50 year old men are financing the largest domestic fan driven industry in Japan solely on gifts? The merchandise and CDs for these groups sell horribly that's why this vague oshi-katsu concept even exists, I've also read that a lot of these production committees don't count investments as investments they're counted as production cost, so if someone just hands money to the producers there's no expected ROI.https://www.mof.go.jp/public_relations/finance/2025011/202511f.pdfAlso check this out.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zkUhuW9vuUgSome random AV actresses started an idol group, they're performing in front of 'packed stage' (silhouettes added in post). This has to be money laundering, it's also easy to traffic people into underground groups via entertainer visas.
