How often do you pirate stuff in your country? What do you pirate? I rarely do it with games since most of the ones I play are old and cheap but I would never pay for movies, series or songs.

Anime and Manga.
>>
I have never paid for a single anime or manga in my life. I have essentially stolen millions of yen from hardworking Japanese animators and mangaka, and I don't feel the slightest bit of shame. This is the low morals of gaijin
>>
>>220702098
what show is that
>>
>>220702098
I usually pirate them too, only anime I ever watched while paying were Code Geass and NGE but I ended up not renewing my Netflix subscription at the time, had it for a month and regretted. Plus they don't have the original NGE ED song in there. Someone paid it for me though so I lost no money from it. Also, pretty hot desu.
>>
>>220702077
i watch a lot of movies and i use stremio + real-debrid
>>

Redo of Healer.
>>
>>220702077
I used to exclusively pirate.
I actually started buying (some) music.
Still not ever going to pay for a movie.
>>
I don't pay money for bytes, never have never will
>>
>>220702077
I think I've paid like 20 euros worth of videogames in my entire life
>>
>>220702077
Exclusively, not really by choice
>>
aside from nintendo games I have pirated every game I've ever played.
>>
pirating is unironically a better user experience than buying in 99% of cases

it's EASIER to find and play quality games through fitgirl than it is with steam.

it's EASIER to download and watch 1080p anime without buffering or dumb shit than it is through some online (paid) platform

as far as I'm concerned anyone who is paying is a sub 80 IQ goy. I cannot imagine living like that
>>
>>220703367
Why would you pirate anything BUT Nintendo? They're the ones I'm actually proud to pirate. Retarded fucking prices, man.
>>220703387
Personally I don't mind paying for something I like and is cheap but apart from that I agree with you.
>>
Basically all the time. Unless I have to buy a legit copy for a console or multiplayer game - or if getting the legit version is cheap and convenient. I always pirate
>>
>>220702077
I rarely do it with games anymore because steam is more convenient. Gaben was right when he said piracy is a service problem.
Music, I get from either Spotify or YouTube.
Movies and shows I still pirate regularly because I'm not going to pay for multiple streaming services, and the movies that I want to watch are sometimes really old and aren't even on those platforms anyway.
>>
I never paid for a single game in my entire life
>>
>>220703416
>Why would you pirate anything BUT Nintendo?
because I want to play games on my nintendo switch? playing nintendo games on PC sucks

Isn't there any way to pirate Switch yet? Shit's so expensive over here I straight up forgot people actually buy it in other countries.
>>
>>220704712
I would not recommend buying a switch over just pirating to be honest with you.

do you want to play factorio with me
>>
>>220702077
i have 5 terabytes worth of tv shows and movies on my jellyfin server

used to pirate movies pretty regularly, especially obscure foreign movies. but ever since rar.bg closed down I never do anymore. what are some good sites? I feel like i'm missing out
>>
>>220702077
>How often do you pirate stuff in your country?
Almost daily.
>What do you pirate?
Movies, tv shows, anime, video games, music, software etc.
Today I have pirated
>Resident Evil Requiem
>4 movies
>1 season of a tv show
>3 seasons of an anime
>two albums
Been pirating since the early 2000's, never paid for any media and never will.
>>
>>220705259
>what are some good sites?
Similar to Rarbg - Kickasstorrents.to.
But the best in general is Knaben.org. It has everything from all sites and a solid safe/potential risk/dangerous system on everything. Doesn't have the fancy pictures and stuff but if you know what you want, just search for it and it pops up.
>>
>>220705323
i'm paranoid about pirating sites. how safe is this Knaben? like, I don't like running the risk of a virus
>>
>>220705373
They are both safe anon. Both are heavily modded and users report malicious content within minutes. I've used them forever and never had any issues. And I'm just using Windows Defender kek.
>>
>>220702077
Ever since I realised every media is just some kind of propaganda. It doesn't make sense they still want me to pay when I'm actually the product
>>
>>220702077
I almost haven't pirated anything since I started working and earning money, been buying all my games since then.
>>
>>220702077
>pre-packed crypto miner/dormant info-scrapper
>"muh fitgirl wouldn't do that"

Nothing is free, chances are the game you want to play is literally 5-10$ on steam and risk free. I am not 12 anymore I can buy any vidya I like without any of the crypto miners attached.

as for music I just pay 5$ a month of youtube music and get to also download them for offline listening no need to complicate things.
>>
File deleted.
>>220702077
i mostly torrent VNs and anime
>>
>>220706447
Same.
>>
>>220702077
>TV
I pirate movies and TV shows.
>games
I pirate older games but it's all games I had for real in my childhood. I buy the rest of my games on Steam.
>music
I pay Spotify subscription for music. If a song I want is not on there I buy it from Bandcamp and import it to Spotify. Sometimes I buy albums I really like whether digital or physical.
>books
Library or buy physical and ebooks.
>>
>>
depends on whats easiest and most convenient
im not running some shady codex installer just to play a video game, its all just a 7zip shell anyway
>>
>>220705323
anon the only attacks happening today are infostealers
most delete themselves after uploading all of your information, you wont even notice
>>
>>220702077
I always stream anything even if I have legal ways of watching it because it’s just easier and quicker to do it on streaming sites then logging onto some gay website. If a game is expensive I’ll just pirate it but I rarely ever get games, plus if it’s like 20 dollars I’ll just buy it
>>
Very rarely, I just have a huge amount of games there is just no need to buy anything new, for movies and series I pirate all the time though
>>
>>220702077
I sometimes buy games in GoG when they're below 30 zł
I never buy movies
>>
denuvo is literally destroying the game piracy scene. no rational person is going to install a denuvo bypass on their machine, it's the dumbest possible shit you could do
>>
>>220708750
Just wait 6 months bro. As soon as denuvo expires you’ll find it instantly. Unless it’s a Sony game because iirc they have a deal with them that gives them unlimited time with their protection

>>220705373
If you're pirating media, you can do it headache free from popular sites, and if it's software, download them from popular sites AND known uploaders and you're golden.
>>
>>220702077
I only pirate movies, anime and manga as all legal methods are shit.
My gf added me to Spotify family when I got with her. I don't care how little the artists make off my streams.

i pirate all my games on fitgirl(TM) and all my books on anna's archive
>>
>>220702077
I essentially pirate all my content, I've never used a paid streaming service in my life. The rare exceptions are when I buy a CD or DVD or Bluray or whatever, usually used, to rip myself because there aren't any rips available.
I do however pay for a seedbox. It's very convenient to be able to seed 24/7 without having my computer on all the time. But I originally started using this because I couldn't forward any ports when I lived at a dorm.
