Spotemgottem & Pooh Shiesty linked up! need it or keep it??!
>>220704572
>>220704572>>220704594Uhhhhh I'm not seeing what the issue is? Is he wrong?
>>220704675most likely some indian caste infighting nobody cares about
>>220704484>TamilIs this some sort of DLC caste?
>>220704675They are bharit dhangslingi being madhea and gaining izzat despite being dalitlamas
>>220704841nigga what
>>220704841Many such cases
>>220704572Who’s the actress on the top left
>>220704484They seem to mog indian film industry too anna
>>220704484The Tamil (Kollywood) film industry is huge in India. They pump out lots of movies but mainly for domestic and SEA audiences. The Hindi (Bollywood) movies overshadows Kollywood and Tollywood internationally but Tamil tv soap operas are more popular outside India.
>>220704814People that live in this state. They are noted for being darker skinned than other Indians (almost no steppe ancestry).
>>220705086I thought Eastern Indians were the dark ones. Tamils/Sri Lankans are just medium brown (and also pure unfiltered sex)
do dravidian speakers in india look particularly different from indo-aryan speakers? how does caste affect things if at all?
>>220705135>I thought Eastern Indians were the dark oneserm no, you're thinking of tribals. People from dravidian states have the highest melanin content on average, and Tamil Nadu is a stand out in it. Sri-lanka is split between sinhalese and tamil. The sinhalese are more north-western shifted (more steppe), and have a complex history of migrations and mix from other states.>and also pure unfiltered sexYeah>220705306>do dravidian speakers in india look particularly different from indo-aryan speakersThey have a different genetic profile, they're not just culturally and linguistically different.
>>220706001so if you cross from maharashtra into karnataka people look different already? are deccani muslims in places like telangana, karnataka, andra pradesh descendants of north indians? why do they speak deccani urdu?>they're not just culturally and linguistically different.how's their culture different from other regional cultures
>>220704484I understood 3 of those words
>>220706167>so if you cross from maharashtra into karnataka people look different already? No that's an exaggeration.>are deccani muslims in places like telangana, karnataka, andra pradesh descendants of north indians? why do they speak deccani urdu?Deccani Muslims originally came from the north and brought Urdu with them, but I think some local southerners probably converted and assimilated to the Deccani Perso-Islamic culture.>how's their culture different from other regional culturesLanguages, cuisine, classical music (look up Carnatic music), to some extent religion. There's plenty of variation within the south as well.t. not Indian, just an anthropology enjoyer
>>220704675>Is he wrong?right = supports mewrong = does not support mehe criticized people, those people want him silenced & hung.
>>220705135>I thought Eastern Indians were the dark ones.that doesnt make any sense. East is Asian, west is Middle eastern. Only direction thats dark is South.
>>220704484total tamil love
>>220705011>>220705021Yeah, but don't the South Indian film industries now get North Indian actresses to act in their films now very frequently? And if they do, it's the light South Indian women (which to be fair, North India does too)? It's just interesting to see how relatively common they are in Hollywood considering the bias against them in India.>>220704964Geraldine Viswanathan
>>220704841yeah
>>220706167>so if you cross from maharashtra into karnataka people look different already?Maharashtra itself is heterogeneous. The konkani coastal regions are similar to the bordering tulu regions of karnataka (which may or may not be northern migrants, however they are distinctly dravidian ethno-linguistically). It depends on the tribes, migration paths and local dynasties. The changes are gradual, but noticable as you move down south towards northern tamil nadu. But I'm not sure haha >DeccaniAmerican already said it, he knows his shitHowever, something interesting is that deccani (urdu) was given patronage in the south before urdu became court-culture in the north. So they had a strong literary tradition in that language which was predates ours by centuries (13-14th century). It's a wonky dialect of old urdu (which diverges across places as it absorbs loan words and inflections) howeverbiet, I don't like how it sounds :|
>>220707980>get North Indian actresses to act in their films now very frequently?I don't watch cinema these days. I just know of the older movies we used to watch on cable TV. Southern movies were really popular here, for some reason. apparently vijay made a movie in kashmir.
>>220704484>>220704572>>220704594I've been to india several times and all of those women are significantly lighter skinned than the average indian. Are bharatians really this delusional?
>>220708373>Amrita RaoBased. Very underrated.
