Most cities in Spain outside Barcelona or Madrid (and even most parts of it) are really what we call "commuter cities", most people don't even work there, they just live there, and the ammenities are incredibly scarce

>>220742008we have shops, pharmacies, gyms, banks, clubs and playgrounds near big apartment complexes. some have those inside, some others have them outside a short walk away. get better at planning i guess. a bus takes you in 10 min to the city center with all the other bigger shops and gambling halls. the people that have to drive a bit usually live at the edges of the city in newly constructed homes.
