The exceptions are notably all from diaspora who live in Western countries or Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, etc. and often banned or restricted within China itself. It's strange because I feel they have a bit of a literary inclination in their general culture. I guess their media is just kept separate from that and confined to being unserious.
