A lot of Americans just have the palate of a 9 yr old. Vegetables icky, so they eat plain pizzas with few toppings.
The most prolific pizza reviewer here exclusively eats cheese, and subtracts points whenever he gets a "fancy" one with basil leaves or even parmesan powder on it.
