I'm not sure if they're classified as fish, but I also like octopus, squid, shrimp, and crab.

Shrimp and crab look similar to insects, but for some reason, I can eat them.

Regions known for longevity include Okinawa and coastal areas in Japan, as well as coastal areas in Italy, where it seems that eating fish every day contributes to a longer life.

I like fish because it doesn't upset my stomach.

Most caught fish was simply an export produce destined for the larger cities further inland. Hence all fish was brined, salted, smoked or cured in some way. Due to religious reasons meat was prohibited from being eaten on certain days (for example on every Friday) but fish wasn't. Thus a very large market for preserved fish existed. One of the mean products the Hanseatic Leage delt in was preserved herring for example.
