Typically, the prom (Majlis Perpisahan/Farewell Ceremony) is done at swanky hotel ballroons or rented wedding venues with full catering. Lecturers are also usually invited. There will be speeches, performances by juniors and then eating. After that, the graduating seniors are left alone to confess with their bf/gf. I actually proposed to my wife at my prom. Honestly, it is the best time to propose, since you have finished studying and embarking on a career. The girl's parents would also be happy she snagged an educated husband
