I heard it's cheaper as an American to not buy insurance and just fly to another country for medical procedures
What operation do you want to get done, OP?Can get into some trouble if you don't find the right guy to do it.
>>220836929i know a person who live in the US and get his dental treatment here.
>>220836929It do be like that somewhat. Dental in Mexico is pretty common, there's a town right off the border of Texas I was thinking of going to. But I've never done it. If you have an emergency and you go into the emergency room, they ask you for your insurance first before they let you in. That one I know from experience.
>>220836929of course taking the lazy unpatriotic route is cheap. that's why very few people in the world can be trusted.
That’s pretty obviously true but the one merit of the American healthcare economy is that the quality is easily the best in the world and everywhere else pretty much sucks in comparison.
>>220836929how much it's a plan for a 25 yo guy?
>>220837060Every border city in Mexico has like a dozen different dental clinics all a few blocks from each other because of all the business they get from Americans coming over for cheap dental work
>>220836929If you live in a Red state, yeah. In California you either get Medi-CAL, insurance through work, or a CoveredCA plan if you are self-employed. All with great coverage. I spend like $150/year total on all health and dental expenses.
