since accordingly to quran prophet is excellent example to fallow, muhammad daily life got canonized

if you dont read them you are left to wonder why are Jesus and all these other Jewish characters so important. Now muslims just kinda learn by some imams talking shit and even the imams most likely havent really gone through it

the whole claim of the books being corrupted most likely stem from valid truths like the eastern christianity inventing their own canon. The first heretics came from there

its like leaving the old testament from the bible and only having the gospel. Some christians (read: in namy only) do question why the bible has the old testament but its because it gives all the context to everything that is in the the testament

yeah you are right
islam is not very consistent

if muslims wouldn't have gone that hard on quran being some how perfect text without any doubt, validity or interpretation in the text...they could at least get away from some stuff the new testament gets like the family tree of Jesus being different in different gospels (which AFAIK is explained by one being symbolic and one being the real one and it does make sense albeit it most likely was not the reason it was like that)
