Do other countries have a "prepper" culture? Here in the U.S., you have a subsection of the population that genuinely believes the collapse of the world will happen for whatever various reasons, and take preparing for it extremely seriously.
Stockpiling food, water, guns, etc. They're also either extremely obnoxious about it or extremely secretive about it. There is no in-between.
Also Mormons here are a big part of the prepper scene. Their church mandates their members have a three month supply of food and other supplies, preferably at least a year (they also sell freeze dried food and other prepper stuff on their church website.) Also a lot of prepper conventions and stuff is held in Utah.
>>
I am doing the same because of our very big and peaceful neighbor. Of course please consult the graphs but it is always wise to have some supplies, it doesn't have to be WWIII but there is shit like viruses and natural disasters.

i prepped gasoline and countless weapons + ammunition.
water i have infinite myself and i have some acres im currently leasing that i can demand for my own

dont think prepper culture is big here tho. maybe some chud groups (bruderschaften) or hardcore antivaxxers

lol i hope you have some sort of preservative for the gas, its really volatile and doesn't keep well

most people don't know this, but leaded avgas will last basically forever. you can use decades old fuel just fine. I've used many many years old avgas in various gas powered equipment. leaded gas will fuck up a lot of newer stuff though (especially catalytic converters), so gotta be careful what you put it in. also it's usually illegal to put it in a lot of things because of the lead, so don't go around broadcasting it. but you'll see tons of people pull up to the airport pumps and fill up tanks to bring home, or just directly into their truck lmao

In my country the government is the prepper. We have massive underground vaults full of fuel, medical supplies, ammo etc. and also emergency food stocks for the entire nation to survive 6 months on it. Citizens are also advised to have food and water stored for at least 3 days. Most of the population also has some kind of foraging, fishing and hunting skills and theres plenty of game and fish in the thousands of lakes and rivers.

I didn't know anything like that even existed here until this guy killed some cops.

it exist here, im partially into it due to practicality when living rural, plus its s thing i keep in the back of my head anyway by instinck. i dont really read into the forums and facefuck groups because they are all so wrong about most of it
excample:
>you should have a barebone v8 truck it will never fail
but it rely on volatile fuel and use 3x more than if you got an old diesel that could run on any organic material.
>5 automatic rifles and 5000 rounds
no, a hunting rifle, a shotgun, even better a drilling (2x12g+rifle) covers all your survival needs, if you aint dead by a few hundred rounds of each then why stock the rest?
>live suburbia
move rural
>ev is crap
living rural its highly likely that the local power grid will be functioning and you cant get fuel
>fuel
see the above, its diesel. offroad or even better nato f34/jp-8 can store for decades, dont prep with street diesel its almost as bad as the best gas.

A VW Golf 1.9 TDI is probably the most reliable engine in existence of humanity, impossible to kill.
>>
>>220842040
American preppers obsess way too much over guns and not enough on long-term sustainablility
>>
>>220842040
Its too expensive and regulated to do the proper prepper shit here like private bunkers and guns so it all shifted to mostly stockpiling and by extension self production of long shelf life food
>>
>>220845639
Freeze dried food stored properly has a basically infinite shelf life, the 10 to 30 years best before date on them is purely for regulatory purposes.
>>
>>220845764
freeze drying is some new age shit that majority of polish preppers (boomers) have never heard of
Canning, drying and smoking is still king here
