What kinds of conspiracy theories do people in your country believe?
That we poor thanks to the US and Portugal.
Crazy ones or like actual ones?
>>220848636the jews control israel
>>220848636That Russia is behind every negative event and that [party I don't like] is controlled Russian opposition. Second most popular is that the US has our best interest in mind when making deals with us and not just making us a vassal state. Then there's the usual internationally occuring ones like antivaxxers and 5Gtards.
The most famous current one is probably that there's a secret underground war being waged all over the world in complex tunnel systems between the deep state and whoever opposes them, and that our government (among others) is taking part and trying to hide the truth from you.Historically I've also heard of one where president Kekkonen died early into his term and the guy in power was actually a Soviet double, and also one where the Russians tried to annex Finland after WWII but their armored columns were stopped by heroic war veterans going AWOL. I had a coworker who was convinced this was true. There's also these famous murders at a lake that remain unsolved, I think, and the conspiracy theory is that the perp was never caught because foreign powers were involved for whatever reason.
