Why are Americans born in America have dual nationalities? She's born and raised American, she has no ties to Japan other than ancestry. Her parents were also born here, only her grandparents are the immigrant ones so why online is she listed as Japanese American? It makes no sense, she should just be American plain and simple the Japanese want nothing to do with outside Japanese and she see herself as American anyways. Why doesn't Conan O'Brien get the same treatment? Everyone considers him American but no one lists Irish American dual nationality in any of his wikis. What's the cut off point? Jeffrey Dahmer was of German decent but everyone lists him as American not German American.
