It´s over for Argentina, Brazil has become a paradise for them. This metric is a great way to gauge just how bad they are.
Whenever Argentina makes the news these days, it’s something really bizarre.
>A minister asking the public to make a sacrifice and eat just one meal a day
>Argentines buying food in Brazil
>Argentines from the border crossing over to work in Brazil
And stuff like that—yesterday’s story was that they started eating donkey meat.

I’m Argentine and currently live in Brazil, and life here is a dream compared to Argentina. Thanks to our Brazilian brothers and sisters for welcoming us.

I’m Argentine and have been living in Brazil for 4 years now. Guys, the world is a really tough place. Living in Brazil is such a privilege!!!!
Dissídio, FGTS, Caixa Econômica, beaches, Carnival, the Brazilian people. Brazil has almost EVERYTHING that’s good.

I’m Argentine and I have a great middle-class life here in Brazil... Búzios, Rio de Janeiro.

The worst part of it all is that here in Brazil, the press—which is overwhelmingly right-wing—is starting to speak well of Argentina , of course, all because have elections in October; obviously Argentina isn’t doing well and Brazil has a stable, growing economy—there’s no comparison. Far-right governments are a failure anywhere in the world and will continue to be so because they don’t consider workers an important part of economic development.
I’m Argentine and, thank God, I live in Brazil (Minas Gerais)
Excellent video, congratulations!

No one has ever said that Argentina is irrelevant. Argentina is Brazil’s second-largest trading partner after China, and Argentina’s struggles do Brazil no favors.

I dont understand why a country thats going trough an economic crisis and poverty they would elect an libertarian an ideology that is literally about telling everyone whos not you to eat dirt

Unfortunately, this is already a reality at the border.
They are coming to work and taking jobs away from Brazilians.

The whole continent is fucked, but with Milei and Lula the different sides are throwing shit at each other and pretending there is nothing wrong with them. I still remember a minister here telling people to not buy lettuce because it's too expensive.
There is no discussion about ideas anymore because they're trying to force you to pick a side, but turns out both sides are on the Epstein list, so, whatever.

The narrative is so pervasive that it’s a constant.
They’re literally fleeing the country and saying they’ll never vote for the left or spouting fantastical narratives.
This guy is in a line of cars waiting to buy meat in Brazil, and the first thing he says is that Brazil is screwed because it has Lula’s socialist government.
He’s literally crossing the border to buy food in Brazil.

The situations in Brazil and Argentina today are incomparable.
Brazil’s problems are extremely minor compared to Argentina’s collapse.

How can food prices rise or be high in brazil? You can literally grow anything with ease and theres endless land for it too.
>>
>>220855430
On the contrary, I hope Argentina improves.
There is nothing positive for Brazil in Argentina becoming the new Venezuela.
Constant migration, a lack of liquidity for trade.
That is the reality today; the economic chasm is enormous, and unfortunately, Argentina’s total decline seems inevitable.

Commodities have a fixed price determined in dollars.
Our only advantage is the shipping cost.
If the Chinese get richer and eat more meat, we eat less.

In fact, they took a snippet out of context and twisted the information.
President Lula told the public not to buy food when prices are raised without any real economic justification, simply because of an increase in consumer spending.
In other words, he told people not to let themselves be ripped off when the market acts opportunistically.

“I’ve been saying that one of the most important factors in keeping prices under control is the public itself. If you go to a market in Salvador and suspect that a certain product is more expensive than it should be, you don’t buy it,” the president added.

I never once said I don´t give a shit.
There is nothing positive for Brazil in Argentina's complete collapse.
>>
As of 2024–2025, Argentina has a higher GDP per capita than Brazil, with figures often estimated around $13,900–$14,360 for Argentina compared to $9,960–$10,310 for Brazil in nominal terms

It's pretty much the best case scenario for us. If the Buenos Aires government collapses, we could grab Paraguay, Uruguay, and parts of Argentina. Brazil would end up running the whole Prata area. We’ve always taken advantage when they turn on each other
>>
>>220855867
That will never happen.
The only thing that will happen is a humanitarian crisis at the border, just like what happened in Venezuela.
A mob of unprepared Mongols invading Brazil.

this lol, you will never take any clay, you will only take more poor refugees :)

>Argentina consistently holds a higher Human Development Index (HDI) ranking than Brazil, typically placing in the "very high" category, while Brazil ranks in the high category. As of recent data, Argentina (approx. 0.842) leads in life expectancy, education, and GDP per capita compared to Brazil (approx. 0.754)

We’re going to get screwed over by China, just like we already are.
While our backward neighbors go down the drain. South America was supposed to be strong and have a thriving local economy.
Indigenous countries are letting the U.S. make a huge mess while the Chinese are making great strides here.
>>
>>220855896
We wouldn’t have much trouble integrating them. We’re a country of 210 million, so taking in 5 million Argentinians wouldn’t be a big deal. Within a few generations they’d be fully Brazilian, just like previous waves of immigrants. This could be an opportunity to strengthen our presence along contested borders. We shouldn’t be overly cautious and should focus on what benefits us
