the harsh Europe winter is such an alien concept to me. i cant imagine a weather so terrible that you have to stock up in advance for it because you might have to stay inside for months. the worst scenerio here is you need another layer of jacket for your strolls
>>220882688that sort of thing only happens in deep russia though. in the modern world with technology and heated homes winter is a mild inconvenience (no pun intended)
North America had a horrible winter last year
>>220882688that doesnt really happen in modern times, apart from Russia beyond the Urals and above the arctic circle, weather is warmer after all, and you can just go to the local grocery store and pump up heating
>>220882688i seen some real shit and lived in several places here, you never have to stay inside for months. roads might be closed for a day or two but thats mountain passes. dont pass the mountain then.
>>220882688retard or bait
>>220884561Nah. We tropicales have summer all year round. We can grow anything, any time, anywhere. We don't need different sets of clothing for different months. Our electricity bills are consistent year round. We don't need to modify our cars for every season. Humans are not meant to live in the cold. Our ancestors were nearly wiped out by the Ice Age. We should hate the cold, despise it, annihiliate it. Did you know we are still at the tail end of an Ice Age? The Earth normally does not have Ice Caps. Global Warming will see to it.
ive never seen snow
>>220882688doesn't happen here, you need to go to Siberia for thatthe closest thing in Europe to your description is Lapland, and even then is moderated by the sea a lothere in Southern Scandinavia that has 90% of the population, winters are never really harshjust boring grey sludge and winter darknessthe only real psychological thing is sort of winter brain fog from the constant overcast skies and short days. feels like your brain turning into mush
>>220885416interestingly Denmark is fine for growing things, producing multiple times the amount we eat despite being at 55N latitudeit has sort of an "eternity" feel. no matter what happens around the world, here we grow stuff and it grows forever and ever and..Swedes and Norwegians were not so lucky though, they were stuck with bedrock and shitty postglacial soil so they had to develop other means of subsistence
