Apparently a lot of other countries and States don't have 35 work weeks, and rather have a full 40. But here's the thing, 35 hours is still too much. When you add your commute you lose an extra hour in the day. And then cooking your meals and showering and shit is another hour or two. Why is it seen as acceptable that we get to do stuff we enjoy part-time and work is full-time? Shouldn't it be a 50/50 split. We should have 25-30 hour work weeks. Also, five weeks of vacation is not enough, it should be eight. You take 1 week in fall, 2 in winter, 1 in spring, and a full month in Summer. Thats fair.

>>220886694you're supposed to be working in order to provide for your wife and children. that's what makes it worthwhile.btw prior to the industrial revolution many people were working sunup to sundown on a farm 6 days a week, so be thankful you aren't doing that.
>>220886744this guy is literally how most of our population thinks this fucking country is gonna have our lunch eaten by asia and then theyll be like>guys how did this happen it's sickening
>>220886778>guys how did this happenI'm gonna go with "sending all of our manufacturing overseas and then importing millions of low IQ migrants to take what few jobs were left"
>>220886778I don't give a fuck about us having a bigger number (GDP) than China. Quality of life sacrifices are not worth being the hegemon.
>>220886855fat useless piece of shit i wish you fucks ever faced the consequences of your behavior but these kinds of things take decades to feel
Hunter-gatherers would work two hours a day.
>>220887794Calling it work is not even correct. It was just life, a chore just like washing your dishes or cleaning your home is today. There was no boss, no set times, no salary. It's like calling a predators hunt a day job.
It's 100 hours imc
