Some of the games I have fond memories of are Super Mario Sunshine, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (GC version), Luigi's Mansion, Star Fox Adventures, Pikmin 2, and Paper Mario RPG.
>>
>Super Mario Sunshine
My nigga. Looking forward to Nintendo releasing it for the GameCube app on Switch. That shit will be so cash. By the way, I'm jealous of that cheapo Japan-only Switch 2 you guys have over there. I don't know how they're able to offer such a big discount based solely on the fact that you can't change the language of the system.

Digimon World on the PS1

This song alone can transport me back to the exact feelings I felt as a 5 or 6 year old experiencing this game for the first time.

Oh yeah the mario "rpg" games on ds too, inside story and the other one where they travel in time
I remember struggling with bowser inside story more than brothers in time despite the fact that you have to coordinate for 4 characters in brothers in time
I also spent a great deal of time playing nitrome games
>>
>>220889555
for me it's Doom II and Heroes of Might & Magic III

I'd say it depends on which systems you played.
On atari 8 bit
Rescue on fractalus
Koronis Rift
Zorro
Joust
Robotron
River Raid

On the original game boy:
Super mario land
Gargoyle's Quest
Mega man

On the Atary lynx:
Zarlor Mercenary
Xenophobe
Todd's adventures in slime world
Paper boy
(While it failed as a portable their games felt better than those on the GB)

SNES
Castlevania IV
Final fight
Contra III
Lemmings
(Apparently I missed all the JRPGs which was what the console was made for)

PC
Secret weapons of the luftwaffe
Maniac mansion
Monkey Island 2
Indiana Jones and the fate of Atlantis
Dune 2
Duke3D
Syndicate
Little Big Adventure
Cobra Mission (It's a remake of a shitty japanese game, but the translation with made up dialoges was superb).
Screamer 2.
Baldurs Gate.

I barely have time to play videogames now, but there're several plataform agnostic games that I've tried at friend's house and enjoyed. They are all partygames.

Broforce
Gang beasts
Stick Fight

>>

I bought an SNES with Super Mario All Stars, Super Mario World, and Super Metroid with my first paycheck flipping burgers when I turned 16. My parents hated video games and arcades so I was forced to play at friends homes before this. Super Metroid was so good. It still gives me chills decades later.
>>
By far Pokemon and Halo
>>
>>220889555
I played the shit out of Mario Kart Double Dash and Super Smash Bros Melee. I also really liked Kirby Air Ride.

I also played Skyrim on the Xbox 360. I liked being immersed while I didn't have to pay to play online. Of course when I got a PC I didn't need to play it on inferior hardware and could run nudity mods on it. But if the network experiences a major blackout I might play it again.
>>
>>220889753
sunshine actually had originality and bought new things to the series. there are places like island delfino, new species like the nokis and piantas, mario get an extended moveset using fludd, introducing new characters like bowser jr and toadsworth.

series after that like mario galaxy and odyssey suffered from nostalgia pandering (especially odyssey)

Skyrim is practically my 2nd hometown, if I don't play it at least once a year, something feels off.
I mostly play strategy games and I've also played Morrowind, Oblivion and deeper RPG like Pathfinder, but I only really ever return to that game.
