how do third worlders afford modern hardware?
>>220929958I don't
>>220929958they don't. that's why they all play free to play, low hardware intensive games
>>220930131That's like 2 grands on "collector" market just sitting there.
>>220929958I don't. Aside from being poor, brazilians pay 200% taxes on eletronics. Obrigado, Lula.
>>220929958My laptop costs lesser than RTX 5070ti
I don't
Let me guess. You need more?
>>220929958no clue, my geforce did cost a bunch, I needed it for AI-related stuff
>>220930131>nintendo
>>220929958>R5 1600>GTX 1080>runs DMC 5 at max settings1440p around 90-100 fpsAnd that's the most hardware demanding game I play
>>220931413>R5 1600Linux time

how do i buy a gpu to play gta v as a poor thirdworldcel with only a 14 year old pc with no gpu?
>>220930546Yes, I need something that actually works.
>>220929958I have a government job and some property.
>>220931467Okay LinusFor some reason my pc still feels pretty fast on Windows 10
>>220931467meant for >>220931430
>>220931544It works tho
I bought stuff I regret now
>>220930131>not getting a cheap Chinese knockoff flash cart for your DS and hacking your Wii
>>220929958if i were them i would wait until some sort of riot breaks out and then like a black guy looting the radio shack for a turntable and speakers during the Rodney King riots (im old) i would recommend you loot whatever consumer electronics store you can
>>220932596Now this is a proper thirdie mindset.
>>220929958I am playing in 1366x768 for the next 1.5-2 years.
>>220930546i still dont understand why anyone would bother with this over an amd card in the same budget range
>>220929958having money?I don't get your questionif you mean what % of people have a discrete graphics card, I don't think it's that manyI remember a local store had a sale for Christmas and they had a wide variety of "gaming computers".... half of them were ryzen with integrated graphics, lolonly the highest tier "gaming computers" had 4060s and stuffhaving a 5090 and stuff is enthusiast tier and are only brought when you ask a store for them (or better yet you buy them online)thing is people prefer to pay a bit more and ask them through a store because if something happens to the GPU during transport the store can and will ask for a replacement or a refund, individual customers don't feel like they have that power right nowwe don't even have a functional postal service right now, everything comes from private courriersduring the email boom of the early 2000's and the 2010 our postal service died a couple times and got revived a couple times and they didn't know everything was going to be sold online and would use a postal service eventually so they revived it smaller and more niche each time and now they're fucked and we're fuckedI do buy stuff when I travel abroad but that's not something most bolivians can do
>>220932596None of those things exist anymore
Years ago I used to buy PC parts on second hand websites. They used to be way cheaper there because smugglers could get them brand new and bring them over the Hungarian border in order to avoid tariffs since we're not in the EU. But nowadays buying PC parts that way is not much cheaper than just going to a store and buying them plus you never know what kind of retard you could be doing business with. In my opinion gaming has become an expensive overpriced hobby. There's nothing too different or interesting on the gaming market nowadays that warrants buying the latest cutting edge hardware. It would be wiser if game devs could just make a concensus on a default hardware setup and make that stick longterm. More people would actually be buying the games. Your game doesn't need to have photorealistic graphics all the time. We are way past the point of people being impressed by the game just because you can see the main character's zit on their 3d model
I have a GTX 5090 and 128gb and use it only for YouTube and webbrowsing. Bet a thirdie had better use...
>>220931467You're solid until 2040, paret. someone with a R5 5600 and 3070 2x from 2021
A friend of my offered me his old 4070 on the cheap because he was upgrading, I even swapped mine and used it for a few weeks before deciding it was pointless because I actually forgot about itI guess I just don't care about AAA games, if they even still exist at this point
>>220929958the fact new hardware is so expensive also means you can sell your 2nd hand parts and recoup a decent chunk of money
I have a laptop with a rtx 4060 and a xbox series s. I can't afford high end shit like rtx 5090Laptop gets the job done and I'm only keeping the xbox for gta vi
I probably have the most expensive rig out of anyone here (Threadripper, sTR5 socket).
There's almost no reason anymore to have a first-rate ``gay ming'' computerThe most popular PC gaming platform is a handheld with integrated graphics and the main reason games are incompatible with it is because it runs linuxI got a mid-range PC for the first time in my life and yet I can't tell the difference between 60 and 144 fps. Graphics? What are you even going to run maxed out? Star Citizen? (lol)Raytracing is mostly a meme to sell graphics cards.
>>220930219Taxes pay for society
>>220934382There are no such cards atm.
>>220935665>playing most "popular" gamesThirdie mindset.
>>220935785Are there even any ``popular'' games with ``good'' graphics?
they have their own SKUs which are basically amalgamations of repurposed parts
>>220935355ill build a new one once the ai bubble pops, probably will max one out in case those techbroniggers shill quantum or something new that will upend parts againprices here are stupid since mid-late october my ram alone could build an entire midrange pcmy 4 ssds plus ram costs as much as this entire rig built back in early 2023i hope americans shoot sam altman and jensen huang in minecraft
>>220929958>modern hardwarelmao why
Can someone from the first world gift me my first gaming graphics card for my 31st birthday next week?
>>220929958
>>220937443check your dms :)
