Being a human is possibly of the best things the universe could provide. No other creature is as excellent in so many different aspects as humans are.I have a feeling that most people who squandered their potential their whole lives running away from their duties are due to receive the most harshest of punishments by devolving when they die. I think many species would kill to be like us.And no, it wouldn't "not matter", I think there'll always be something there to remind us of what we once were, as punishment, and we'll find emotions that we didn't even know were possible when we were once humans, to express the wanting we'd find ourselves having at that moment.
