We’re getting old in our countries
>>220947764Yes, time passes.
In every 60 seconds Lithuanian people get older by 1 minute, together we can stop this.
>>220947830you should switch to metric and then you would only age 43.88 seconds per every 60 seconds
>>220947990If you had the ability you Americans would have created your own time measuring system like the "juttle" the time it takes for a rock to fall from 2 feet or 2.314 seconds or the "sprint" the time it takes a horse to cover 2 football fields going from one point to the next or roughly 3 and a half minutes.
>>220948206big fan of the cubit myself
>>220947764yes worst part is having no memories from so called "youth" era
>>220947764https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q2g0hrrKLNwWhat's scary about ageing isn't what is to come, but what has passed.
I'm much younger now that I use the metric time measures.100 seconds in a minute100 minutes in an hour10 hours in a day10 days in a week10 months in a yearI'm about 25% younger now.
>>220947764I don't mind getting old.I mind having nothing to show for my youth
>>220952766inb4 metric fans go, "no, no, not like that!"
I don't mindWhat I mind is my mom getting old.
>>220952786Bah, that doesn't really matter that much. Getting old and being poor in money and health now that is a kicker. When you are 70 dementia ridden and screaming your lungs out because you are dying of cancer that's terror.
>>220947764yes,that happens to anyone who isn't dead yet >>220951561>having no memories from so called "youth" eradid you brain your damage?
>>220947764The entire population is aging
>>220952849The brain is funny in how it stores memories, it's perception of time and what not. You will remember your youth somewhat but it will start using that space for the more recent memories, there will be a day where you wake up and don't remember a large chunk of your youth only the milestone events, thoughts will get fragmented where you remember something and know there should be more to it but you just can't quite seem to recall. Neurons are like muscle you need to use it or it waists away so reminisce on your youth if you want to have those memories for longer.

>>220948206laughed out loud at this for a juttle or two, well done
>>220947764Not me, im 52 and am still the same since 16.
>>220957981Yes, choose a degree you can actually finish in 4-5 years. I made a big mistake and went for med and wasted like 4 years of my life for nothing. I had to change over to a new degree when i was 23 and now i am going to graduate at 28. Don't make my mistake and graduate fast.
