Did you know that churches in Siberian cities as Irkutsk are green and white, just like flag of Siberia? In churches there is a religious meaning behind those colors but its an intresting that they match flag of our country.

It's only on one side and it's made on purpose.
>The Passion Façade is austere, plain and simple, with ample bare stone, and is carved with harsh straight lines to resemble the bones of a skeleton. Dedicated to the Passion of Christ, the suffering of Jesus during his crucifixion, the façade was intended to portray the sins of man. (...) They aimed to give a rigid, angular form to provoke a dramatic effect. Gaudí intended for this façade to strike fear into the onlooker. He wanted to "break" arcs and "cut" columns, and to use the effect of chiaroscuro (dark angular shadows contrasted by harsh rigid light) to further show the severity and brutality of Christ's sacrifice. Facing the setting sun, indicative and symbolic of the death of Christ, the Passion Façade is supported by six large and inclined columns, designed to resemble strained muscles. Above there is a pyramidal pediment, made up of eighteen bone-shaped columns, which culminate in a large cross with a crown of thorns.

It always felt weird to me having chairs instead of benches, a very cool church nonetheless even though a bit too modern for my taste. An interesting detail, they made at least 2 mistakes on purpose when building it, brick pattern is wrong at a spot behind the altar and also a place above the seiling/in the attic. Reason was only God can create perfection.

that basilica was completed in 2014, inspired by the old cathedrals of Europe.
i also really like the interior, there's gregorian chant at every mass.
they brought from Germany an organ with 3,182 pipes (the largest measuring almost 6 meters and the smallest about 6 millimeters), 48 stops, and three manual keyboards, in addition to the pedalboard. it was brought from an 11th-century gothic church in Osnabrück, as it was broken and no longer in use, and was restored recently.

that church is not finished yet, there are a lot of things still being done, such as to install stained glass windows in all the pointed arches, just like in this cathedral in Paris in the pic, which was their main source of inspiration.
what I think is cool is that they have monthly organ concerts, so you can see how beautiful the music is and how powerful that organ is.

Fun fact: this church, called Nostra Signora di Bonaria, is why the capital of Argentina is called Buenos Aires. Its marian devotion became popular among aragonese sailors in the Middle Ages and it spread in Catalonia as "Buen Ayre", then eventually some spanish settler-sailors dedicated the town in Argentina to it many years later.

Lutheranism and US style Evangelism are nothing alike wtf are you on.
