None, english is the best and most convenient. I've never met a single person who wanted to learn either Mandarim or Hindi... but I've met so many who were learning english, and a few who were learning spanish.English will keep being the indisputable lingua franca for now, and I don't see it losing this status

Russian has many of the problems German does with verb conjugations and extremely complex grammar, it's probably the only language that gatekeeps based on raw intelligence rather than rote memory meme characters. Chinese has limited sounds, homophones, it's difficult to create new words because the written and spoken language is different. Also Chinese requires a foreign language just to sound out their characters, you'll see pinyin on native Chinese texts to help you learn sounds, and the radical system is pretty terrible at indexing. French has all of the problems English does with weird irregular pronunciations and it also has gendered language. Idk anything about Hindi or Indonesian. I'd take dead Latin over Spanish because they play very loose with grammar, but it's servicable. So by process of elimination Portuguese.
