It baffles me how americans manage to have considerably higher car accident rates than a lot of Europe despite only driving automatics and not dealing with manuals. What's hard about driving an automatic? I can understand driving an old manual with a gearbox that's nearly dead and struggling but how do you fuck up with an automatic. It drives itself.

Cars are so piss easy to operate nowadays that people who, back when everything was a manual, would’ve had no business being on the road, are being handed licenses like candy for being able to drive in a straight line for one minute.
