Why isn't there any culture or religion in the world that believes a great god once existed but died long ago? Or that believes that this universe exists because a god died?

Doesn't that make sense? This universe is filled with grand designs and mysticism and wonder but it's been left to its own devices for many millions of years at this point

Hinduism unironically has some similar themes.

because religion is psychosexual, god is there because an upper class is there ruling over you with concealed but very real lethal force

>that believes a great god once existed but died long ago
Isn't this literally what you christians believe?

>you christians
...?
what about my post leads you to think I am christian?

America is a Christian country, my dude.

Hinduism has nukes in their religion, it was used unsuccessfully in an abortion attempt. I suppose this means gods can die.

>However, Ashwatthama, out of anger, and as he didn't know the way to recall the astra as he did not have the entire teaching of Brahmashtra and how to recall it so he rather directed it to Uttarā's womb to kill the unborn Parikshit in an attempt to cause damage to his opponents, but Krishna intervened and saved the child.

Because successful religion is transactional and interesting ideas like that don't foster followers.
If the god doesn't give you 'something' for worship it's not going be worshipped.

What the fuck does this even mean, retard?? The universe is just the way it is, and is all that is, there is nothing "special" about the universe because there is by definition, nothing else to compare it with, reality is just the way it is and can not be otherwise, not sure how this is so hard to understand.

the first Tier 3 civilization from the first billion years of the universe's existence is flying around dropping off humans on different planets.

people make up gods to have some solace because otherwise everything is so random, there isn't justice, and things many times happen at random
so they wanted someone they could pray to and believe they could be warded off of entropy
not that it really works but they like to think it does
so they can't believe in a god that doesn't help them anyways because that defeats the purpose of why they made up a god in the first place

HOMOsapiens don't like to feel abandoned (in fact that's probably their biggest evolutionary fear), and want to believe their life has meaning

how is this relevant to religion at all. I don't understand

>there is nothing "special" about the universe
how can you even say this unironically

interesting...

why is it that video games have more advanced mythology than we do in real life. wtf.

this is how commies see religion. it's shallow.
God represents the constraints of nature and physics on your body and mind.

This is what Mainlander believed.
He killed himself.

>why is it that video games have more advanced mythology than we do in real life.
Well, they don't. But to find out about real life mythology you have to pour over like 1000 years of increasingly obscure texts, many of which contradict, are partial, or are lost to time entirely.

Micheal Kirkbride just did a shitload of drugs while writing Morrowind so its all there and easy to digest.

And what exactly is the universe special in comparison to? Objects can be said to be "special" in contrast to other objects, but how can we actually say that the world/the universe/reality i.e. that which is i.e. "being" i.e. what is the case, is special? That's not to say it is "ordinary" either, or that we should lack any fascination with the fact that it is as it is, but that concepts like "special" or "ordinary" just are not the type of properties that we could assign to the universe, and there is nothing that we can infer about the universe/reality/the world from itself, besides the set of properties/objects/elements that we ascribe to it, any other statement would have to go beyond the universe, a logical contradiction, and thus is nonsense, and a pointless nonsense at that.

All religions believe God has disappeared in one way or another, abrahamic religions came to be as the bronze age collapse cultural mixings broke the global consciousness and brain architecture needed to hallucinate personal gods making these disappear which then traduced into a sense of longing and disppearing for the gods.
Look up the "The Origin of Consciousness in the Breakdown of the Bicameral Mind", it's a nice explanation to how consciousness came to be.

Religion needs to be palletqble to normalfags and normalfags aren't lorefags..
The purpose of religious text is to make the 90 IQ might makes right chieftain feel good and pay taxes to the priest class,
making nerds go
>Holy KINO. This is ludo. VGH, the metaphysics of the lost world, the implications of the sovl...
does nothing for most people.
It is why we have the term esoteric, because only a select monks and shizos were interested in philosophical exploration of religion
