That's how it has always gone and will always be. When new things get invented and it spreads to other cultures they borrow the name from them. You didn't invent a new word for sauna when you encountered it. You just started using the Finnish word and mispronounced it. Half of English words come from French anyway and a large bunch come from Greek and then there are all the words from various foreign cultures you took things from like shampoo from India etc.

It's so cringe when an entirely new thing is created or discovered in a certain country and then insecure people around the world feel the need to make their own name for it
