My parents still had to pay school tax, had to pay other teachers to assess us each year despite my mother being a licensed teacher, lived in fear of truant officers showing to to kidnap us to social services just because they felt like it despite complying and being on a defined curriculum, and went to speak in state congress special sessions multiple times about homeschooling to try to get laws changed to be less vague and overreaching.I grew up teaching myself math from old Saxon textbooks because it's more effective to actively learn than listen to droning lectures. I have an IQ in the top 1% of all human beings currently alive, and all you dumb fucks will do is say "uh but you ended up on 4chan!" and cry for more funding and bootlicking for public time wasting disconnecting families from their children and failing to teach them anything other than how to be gay and so basic addition over a twelve year period where they're locked in all day nine months out of the year like a job.I did my schoolwork from 9am to 1pm and didn't the rest of my time drawing, or reading, or whatever.
