Do you find real modern life disappointing in your country?
>>
i wagecuck full time then do nothing on the weekends. i can't afford anything of value with the money i've saved up. two years have gone by in the blink of an eye.

Let me guess, you're renting instead of living in a caravan?
>>
>>221183314
I want to emigrate from this shithole country so fucking bad. I've no life whatsoever asides from going to work, gym and the grocery store.
>>
it is not very fun being born in the first generation that is gonna be poorer than their parents
>>
>>221183282
yes, I was supposed to be born thousands of years ago.

It’s not even about money man. I mean, money can buy a good time every now and then but in the big picture it doesn’t buy a purpose or a grand quest. It just doesn’t matter. And in that regard, there’s just nothing worth doing to do. Like I think a lot about how heroism in the old days meant to become a conqueror, a saint, or a martyr and I think about what would heroism look like today and I just can’t even come up with anything. It’s like there were tasks built-in to life. But now, it’s like making more or less money is the only thing we’re offered and that just doesn’t do it for me. I stopped finding the joy in partying, gambling, and thrill-seeking to pass the time years ago. So what’s left once you rule all this out? It seems like nothing.

Just go to America. You can literally buy your way in forever with a student visa.

>I think a lot about how heroism in the old days
>I think about what would heroism look like today and I just can’t even come up with anything.
duh, the modern world sucks, kiddo. Maybe 100 years ago you could have fought for your country or improved your local community, but would you do it now? Saving an evil system is either evil or stupid.
> So what’s left once you rule all this out?
Life is a fight, fight and stop criying
>>

> dude just like accept that life sucks and hate it until you die
Wow profound advice
>>
>>221184360
my point was literally the oposite, try for something worth it instead of complaying. join a cult, touch grass or whatever, is for you to find something that suits you
>>
>>221184149
100 years ago was WW1, dummy. you have to go waaaay further back. back to ancient times when wealthy members of your community would offer you a chance to sack a city.
>>
Yeah there's no great revolutions, no lofty ideals. Modern life is wasted wage cucking and in the brief periods of leisure are wasted on here or social media which zaps way any remaining creativity or free thinking
>>
>>221184465
Any suggestions other than throwing your life away for a cult you wise old sage you?

To think so many normies and wagies live like this every week, every day. How do you not kill yourself instead of repeating this for the next 30 years
>>
>>221184732
training will keep interior voice calm like alcohol but instead of bad health you get good health, you might also want to read lao tse and aristoteles and plato... the worst thing you can do is believe you have time, you don't.
>>
Born too late to explore the earth, too early to explore space, just in time to
>>
>>221183282
Yeah, no shit. There's nothing. Literally NOTHING to look forward to. Boomers ruined the world.
>>
>>221185626
twist top, pit stop, at the fish and chip shop
>>
>>221185626
…to…what…? To WHAT? DAMMIT.
>>
>>221185659
When people talk about boomers ruining the world they’re talking about women not being whores, good jobs, and cheap home prices. I think even if we had those life would still feel meaningless as evidenced by all the Gen X angst.
>>
>>221185975
Yes, but atleast it would be a million times better than what we have now. This is just hell.
>>
>>221185999
In some ways it might be worse. When you have everything you want you realize how pointless it is.
>>
i no longer wish to participate in life, its more utilitymaxxing if i rot in bed
>>
>>221186431
baby boomer detected.
>>
>>221185117
>the worst thing you can do is believe you have time, you don't.
As long as you're breathing there's time. it's when you're dead that there's no time
>>
>>221185957
to discover that life is what you make it.
>>
>>221186553
No I just made really good money early on is all

My health sucks. If it clears up, I enjoy drinking beer and playing vidya. But the real world, relationships and work, etc... dont like it too much.
>>
>>221186683
yeah, that's the description of baby boomers.
