What do other swedes think of west coasters? Snobbish or yokels?
>>
>>221190101

I don't think anyone cares. Gothenburg is also on the west coast and it's one of the largest and most popular cities in the country.

No. Quite the opposite, I am as far from the coast as you can come in Sweden pretty much. We got lakes but no coast.

>Driving with earbuds in
Should be illegal, you're supposed to be able to hear things in your surroundings while driving. At least he's actually too poor to get noise cancelling ones.

>>221190101

it's comfy

You know deaf people are allowed to drive right?
My dad is deaf and has been driving for 50+ years. He even worked as a trucker for a decade.

Yeah I actually had to load freight onto a deaf guys truck last week and he was retarded and shouldn't be driving.

Also it's completely different to somebody who can't hear compared to choosing to not be able to hear.

No it's not the end of the world if you can't hear road sounds around you but choosing to ignore them in favor of your gay ass music directly in your ear should be an executable offense. There are way too many people who don't take driving seriously enough.
>>

A lot of modern cars (especially more expensive ones) focus hard on sound proofing. That combined with the stereo on? You can't hear shit from the outside world.

People need to learn how to pay attention and not use their phones while driving. Also big ass screens in cars was a mistake, should never have moved from tactile buttons you didn't need to look at.
>>
>>221190101
A 45 minute drive. If I moved right to the coast I'd have even less of a social life, but it would be nice, maybe in the future.

>People need to learn how to pay attention and not use their phones while driving.
Agreed, but I think part of that is listening and being able to hear stuff.

I lived nearly on the beach of about a year. I both hated it and loved it. I found on one hand the sunshine made me physically feel better and sleep better but on the other hand I had nothing to do, beach towns are weird and boring, and everyone was lazy and stupid.
