Did you know about the Korean Squat? I just learned South Koreans squat in public places, such as while waiting at the bus stop. The movie, The Wailing (great movie, watch it), the father of the daughter squats outside a store to kill time while his daughter is inside buying stuff. It's very common apparently and used more publicly than the Slavic squat.
