Have you ever been scammed in your country?
I've been scammed twice by Indians and once a Paki tried to scam me and once an Indonesian

No, not really. Am I very suspicious person because I grew up in the hood.
>>
A Brazilian being held in slavery (I think in Myanmar) once tried to scam me. Still think about it from time to time

They try, but always failed. Like I get a call and I always answer the phone because I'm a curious person but I never say anything, I let the other person speak first.
They say hello
I ask who is it?
This one time they said we are from the "procuraduría del estado", state prosecutor's office and they need to know the numbers I called recently or something
I kept asking which state? Which state? And they hanged up
This other time when I asked who is it?
They said they dont recognize me anymore?
And I hanged up

once my mum forwarded me a link to buy her stuff, I didn't double check the url. It had two E in place of one E in the name of the company
cost me $32
the other time I was desperate for a job and paid $5 but turned out the whole thing was just 'em selling me a course
>>
>>221202234
Was it a Java course?
>>
>>221201911
Of course they're scam resistant they switch to speaking Hindi and the person on the other side responds with
>Bloody madarchod can't you see I'm trying to make a living you bastard
>>
>>221203723
Durasoft certified java course
>>
Nope. I never talk to browns. If a brown tries to sell me something I never buy. If a brown gives me an advice I never listen. I ignore browns by all means possible, so I have never been scammed

Scammer, probably Russians, who steal CS skins, once managed to get my Steam account, because they managed to steal an account of a guy I knew, who was involved into competitive gaming championships. Told me they needed votes to classify into the next round. They send me a link to the website and I logged in with my account.

They fooled me good, especially with the shit chat. Felt real. I had no idea, that those were scammers. Then days later Steam sends me a message, that my account was blocked out of safety reasons. That's when I knew I was scammed. I got it back luckily, not much damage was done, but that was a god damn good reminder, that you have to be suspicious about everything nowadays.

Yeah I didn't gave much thought at the moment and realised the red flags later, after I got hacked. Sometimes you just let you guard down and shit happens.

When I was 8 or something an adult Muslim man stole a bike I was selling. He just shoved a little bit of money into my hand and then ran off with it and I couldn't stop him of course.

When I was 11 or something I was in a supermarket in Italy and the girl behind the counter refused to give my change back when I bought a loaf of bread.
>>
>>221210018
As far as I can recall, every bad encounter in my life has been with Muslims or in Italy.

My physiotherapist was an Indian guy. He told me he would heal my issue after 2 months. Dropped 2k on his therapy and he didn't heal me.

Yeah I been scammed a couple times. Charity scams; ‘please help me I’m desperate’
I’m ok with it, but I don’t give anyone any charity now. Sucks for the people whose stories are real
>>
>>221206184
This must isolate you from basically everyone and your family but if it helps you to avoid scams it's cool
>>
>>221201911
Never

But I'm starting to think that scamming people is the way forward

Boomers are going to get btfo anyway. I know some boomers that took debt just to let the money in their bank account

One time, I went to the ATM Machine to get some cash and I got 2 fake RM50 bills. I went to the bank and they said they can't do anything about it other than telling me to lodge a police report. I will have lost RM100 regardless. So I put the fake money into a random donation box. Not my problem.
