1. Because of they are not. first of all Mogols and Turks are different, though they might look like. Genghis khan's troops were mixed both Turks and Mogols tribes.

2. Modern Turkiye is very diverse genetically. Have you heard about white Turks? Though some tribes could preserve their genetic uniqueness through compact living in specific locations within Turkiye. Turk is rather a cultural identity than genetic. Indeed, modern Turkiye is far different from old turks and mogols.

3. Majority of Turks preach Islam their original faith is shamanism. it is similar to Mogols.

4. Ottomans inherited Byzantine empire traits opposite to the old turk and mogol tribes.

5. Kind of a proto-democracy organization through tribes councils. Here Mogols and Turks are different.
