Ayaaaaaaaaaaaa Walking Dead in real life. They say low risk but one wants the boat
>>
this is what this world deserves anyways

Dock it everywhere else in the world except Europe and make a massive 1000ft wall on the Asian border in the span of a few days so we are all safe.
>>
hantavirus mortality is very high
>>
>>221230715
respiratory failure and cardiogenic shock within just 24 to 48 hours
>>
>>221230715
>>221230750
It doesn’t seem to be able to be spread from person to person though? I think you have to directly contract it from rodents.
>>
>>221230715
how transmissible is it? rabbies also has very high mortality, but it's very rare
>>
>>221230833
>>221230839
yes hanta is rat to person, there is a rat infection on the boat
>>
>>221230950
>infection
infestation
>>
>>221230950
So if the people on the boat are all quarantined until the infected pass/people are cleared of symptoms what’s the problem?
>>
>>221230839
Rabies is only rare because of human social structures that ostracize or quarantine infected right away. Our species has spent tens of thousands of years developing an instinctive fear of rabies symptoms, and as a result it is impossible for human to human transmission to have any hope of occurring. However, animal-to-human transmission is relatively common in turdie countries.

yes everyone is quarantined until incubation period is up to see who is sick, just like covid, many ships were stranded the same way

except hantavirus kills very fast so if everyone is quarantined, they will get sick and die before the end of the week

Then I don’t know if I’m missing something but it doesn’t seem that dangerous in terms of causing a pandemic. Covid was such a big deal because people are retards and you couldn’t trust some fag not to accidentally spit on you but if this virus only comes from proximity to rodents and the infected rodents are cordoned off on that boat not many people will contract it.

there is a rare strain that is person to person, the andean hantavirus, for 3 days waiting, versus letting something dangerous loose, it is worth it, just be patient
