European quality of life is significantly higher than American quality of life, but to Americans how much you earn/own is all that matters. I’d rather be poor and be able to walk around a beautiful town/city with than be rich and live in a big plastic house and have to drive everywhere.Tell an American this and you’ll either get a blank stare or at most they’ll start repeating something about Muslims they read online.
