>>
>>221241725
It's impossible but they can "believe" they are in success.

>is it possible to have an actually successful life there without leaving?
being born to a corrupt politician or a cut throat business owner.

getting a job here isn't the answer like in the first world, working here is a punishment especially in third world countries where exploitation and extortion from the employer is the norm.

Yeah but you are still surrounded by a lot of subhumans, shitty infraestructure, violence, stupid politicians and a country that doesn't work in general, and your personal success won't fix those issues

actually i traveled a lot through Spain, and it wasn't much different from where i live.
in fact, some things work better here than there.
for example, If something like that in the photo happened here, the police beat the crap out of those guys and confiscate everything they have.

yeah
most migrants come from very very poor backgrounds so any improvement is a good improvement
the rest of us live just ok
my parents came from lower middle class and we're upper middle class in less than a generation, and the money keeps coming
it's doable.
>>
>>221241725

1. get a good job through pure skill, luck, or connection, or all
2. climb through the corporate ladder
3. profit
Good jobs exist, thirdie issue is mainly about equality. Like Jakarta salary and even Denpasar is quite different. IT or finance or mining tend to pay well.
Being entrepreneur also possible but it is pretty down to luck or as you mention before, being already rich.
>>
>>221253364
>Like Jakarta salary and even Denpasar is quite different. IT or finance or mining tend to pay well.
What is a good wage in these cases?
>>
>>221241725
Yeah just be lucky and be born into a rich family
>>
>>221253416
I make about $1800/mo after tax. It's not that rare for Jakarta. Not impressive for firstie level but it's pretty okay for here. I'm on managerial level for an IT company. 20 million rupiah and up is considered a "made it" pay here.

According to scholars the world is actually in more of a east-west global divide nowadays
>>
If you can afford to live in a good gated community/private neighborhood, one armored vehicle and a good amount of money offshore I say you are just about to "make it" here in Brazil.
>>
>>221249619
>stupid politicians and a country that doesn't work in general, and your personal success won't fix those issues
That's like a universal constant.
>>
Your only real hope is to be born in an affluent or millionaire/billionaire family.

Anything less you're going to migrate if you're smart.
>>
>>221241725
basically what this pinoycunt said >>221242180
which means no in 99% of cases.
btw russia should also be coloured on these maps but it never is
>>
>>221241725
With enough luck, sure, you can, however it's all matter of what kind of job you have, just like having a successful life in any first world country
>>
>>221251893
yes, of course
we're one of the poorest countries in the region
it would be a shame on so many levels if we couldn't pick up pace after starting from so far behind
our yearly development before gas ran out outpaced everyone around us
again, not a flex, it was bound to happen since we're starting from behind the others
but in general things seem to be improving.
the only problem is that we've started seeing criminality similar to our neighbors, just the other sunday they killed three people, in what seems to be sicario style executions.
of course some other countries count their deads in the hundreds per week and we're still surprised at 3, so again I don't feel this is an unsafe country yet
but it seems like the more money will come, the more criminals will see our country as a place to stablish businesses.
that's the bad part of economies improving, the good and the bad come
